Rental policies
The short version of how renting with Razortrips works.
Who can drive
- Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license.
- Bring your driver's license to pickup, or upload a photo of it when you book. The booking form also asks for 3 references.
- Only drivers named on the booking may drive the car.
Paying and deposit
- You pay by card on a secure Stripe page right after booking. Cancelled trips are refunded to the same card.
- A refundable deposit of $200 is held at pickup and released after the car is returned in good shape.
Miles
- 200 miles a trip are included. Extra miles are charged at a per-mile rate we tell you before the trip.
Changes and cancellation
- Cancel up to 24 hours before pickup at no cost.
- To return early or extend your trip, text or call us. Extensions depend on the car being free.
During your trip
- No pets
- No smoking
- No smoking or vaping
- Return with the same fuel level
Tolls, tickets and damage
- Tolls, parking and traffic tickets during your trip are your responsibility.
- Report any damage or accident to us right away. Damage is handled as agreed at pickup.
